RL Gordon Contractors began in the 1980s when Ron Gordon gained a reputation throughout Central Florida as one of the best custom home builders in town. He was known for quality work that was plumb, square and level and did not take cheap shortcuts that would affect the quality of the construction.  He was also known for educating the not only his employees but also the engineers and building inspectors. His daughter Amy Clements grew up on jobsites doing everything from construction cleaning to laying sod.  As an adult she worked behind the scenes in the office learning the procedures and processes.  She was educated on every phase of the job from plans design and layout to the finished product. She went on to become and interior designer and licensed General Contractor and continues the family business, upholding those same high standards.
